FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustics and can be used for real-time monitoring of parameters of underwater noise of water craft using a hydroacoustic working measuring instrument from the water craft itself. A working measuring instrument on a tether equipped with a flexible suspension is dropped overboard at a given distance from the water craft in stabilisation mode and without movement of the water craft. Parameters of hydroacoustic noise of the water craft are then measured from the water craft. The flexible suspension on the tether eliminates hydrodynamic noise.

EFFECT: enabling monitoring, using working measuring instrument dropped overboard, of noise parameters in water craft stabilisation mode without movement of the water craft, eliminating hydroacoustic vibrations of the tether of the working measuring instrument on water craft noise parameter measurement results.
