FIELD: hydroacoustics; on-line monitoring of noise emission parameters of running underwater object in testing water basin at any preset period of time. SUBSTANCE: capsule with hydrophone held by variable-depth sonar cable of adjustable length is thrown through hatch in hull and is towed by running object, thus making it possible to check parameters of noise emission in the most important direction aft direction. Upon completion of measurements, capsule is self-destroyed. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of monitoring. 6 cl, 1 dwg
