SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, namely to an oral composition for individual's serum cholesterol reduction. The present composition contains probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus reuteri NCIMB 701359 having high bile salt hydrolase bsh activity, their isolate or supernatant and carrier. The high bsh activity bacteria have bsh activity, which degrades >2000 mcmol of glycodeoxycholic acid (GDCA) per one gram of deposited raw bacteria per an hour and >500 mcmol of taurodeoxycholic acid (TDCA) per one gram of deposited raw bacteria per an hour measured 30 minutes later.
EFFECT: present invention enables reducing serum cholesterol, serum and fatty tissue lipids and an atherogenic index effectively.
