SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to pharmacology, specifically to a porcine lactic acid bacterial strain for the treatment of intestinal disorders. Porcine lactic acid bacterial strain, which is selected from: NCIMB 41846: Lactobacillus reuteri GGDK31; NCIMB 41847: Lactobacillus paraplantarum and Lactobacillus reuteri GGDK161; NCIMB 41848: Lactobacillus reuteri GGDK255; NCIMB41849: Lactobacillus plantarum/pentosus/helveticus/paraplantarum GGDK258; NCIMB 41850: Lactobacillus johnsonii and Lactobacillus reuteri GGDK2 66; NCIMB 42008 Lactobacillus johnsonii; NCIMB 42009 Lactobacillus reuteri; NCIMB 42010 Lactobacillus plantarum; NCIMB 42011 Lactobacillus reuteri; NCIMB 42012 Lactobacillus reuteri; a strain constituting at least 99.5 % identity on 16S rRNA with a strain selected from those deposited under the access number indicated above; and any combination of two or more of these strains, where said strain is characterised by: the ability to demonstrate antimicrobial activity against E. coli; and the ability to block the attachment or invasion of IPEC cells to E. coli. Composition with antimicrobial activity against E. Coli and which blocks attachment or invasion of IPEC cells to E. Coli. Composition comprising one or more lactic acid bacterial strains. Probiotic composition. Use of one or more lactic acid bacterial strains, for the treatment of intestinal disorders in a subject. Use of one or more lactic acid bacterial strains for the preparation of a medicinal agent for the treatment of intestinal disorders in a subject. Method for the treatment of an intestinal disorder in a subject. Method of producing a probiotic, including the cultivation of a lactic acid bacterial strain. Method of obtaining a porcine lactic acid bacterial strain.
EFFECT: above-described strains and compositions effectively treat intestinal disorders in a subject.
