SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering. In the method of operation of a thermal power plant, in which the spent steam arrives from the first steam turbine into the steam space of the condenser, and steam of heating parameters from steam turbine bleeds arrives into the steam space of the lower and upper heaters, recovery of the waste low-potential thermal energy of the steam spent in the turbine and recovery of low-potential heat of steam of heating bleeds from the steam turbine is carried out with the help of a heat engine with a closed circulation circuit, operating according to the organic Rankine cycle, in which they use low-boiling fluid as cooling fluid, circulating in the closed circuit. As the low-boiling fluid they use liquefied carbon dioxide CO2.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency factor of a TPP due to complete usage of discharge low-potential heat and recovery of low-potential heat of steam of heating bleeds from the steam turbine for additional generation of power, to increase resource and reliability of operation of a steam turbine condenser and to reduce heat emissions into environment.
