FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at thermal power plants (TPP) for utilisation of excess thermal energy generated by systems of TPP during its operation. Utilisation of low-potential steam heat of heating extractions, high-potential steam heat of a production extraction and low-potential heat of an oil supply system of bearings of a steam turbine with a production steam extraction is performed. All the above utilisation processes are performed by means of a thermal engine with a closed circulation circuit operating as per a Rankine organic cycle. A low-boiling working medium circulating in the closed circuit is compressed in a condensate pump of the thermal engine, heated in a recuperative heat exchanger of the thermal engine, in an oil cooler of a condensing plant, in lower and upper system water heaters of the steam turbine, evaporated and superheated in a condenser of the steam turbine with production steam extraction, expanded in a turbine expansion engine, its temperature is decreased in the recuperative heat exchanger and condensed in a heat exchanger - condenser of the thermal engine.
EFFECT: improving TPP efficiency due to additional generation of electrical power at utilisation of excess thermal energy generated by TPP systems.
