SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Execution of instruction on Configure Storage Class Memory in computation system with access to the main memory and solid-stage memory. This process the steps that follow. Data I/O subsystem receives data on solid-state memory configuration. Data I/O subsystem dispatches to control instruction, at least, a portion of aforesaid received data. Said data I/O subsystem receives request unit including command code that specifies solid-state configuration instruction and magnitude of total size for determination of requested amount of increments for solid-state memory. Configuration process is initiated for solid-stage memory configuring.

EFFECT: configuration for definite section or virtualised guest when control program is not aware of solid-state memory configuration.
