FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a working fluid for a refrigeration system having a compressor, wherein the working fluid contains: (i) an ester-based cooling lubricant containing (a) 1-99 wt % of one or more first ester compounds having the structure (I) wherein each one of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 is independently H or a methyl; each one of a, b, c, x, y and z is independently an integer and each one of a+x, b+y and c+z is independently an integer from 1 to 20; and each one of R7, R8 and R9 is independently selected from a group consisting of straight and branched alkyl groups and straight and branched alkenyl groups having 3-8 carbon atoms; (b) 1-99 wt % of one or more second ester compounds having the structure (II) wherein each one of R11 and R12 is independently H or a methyl; each one of m and n is independently an integer, and m+n is an integer from 1 to 10; and each one of R10 and R13 is independently selected from a group consisting of straight and branched alkyl groups and straight and branched alkenyl groups having 3-8 carbon atoms, wherein the first ester compound or compound (a) and the second ester compound or compound (b) together make up at least 50 wt % of the ester-based cooling lubricant (i); and (c) an additive selected from a group consisting of: diaryl sulphides, aryalkyl sulphides, dialkyl sulphides, diaryl disulphides, arylalkyl disulphides, dialkyl disulphides, diaryl polysulphides, arylalkyl polysulphides, dialkyl polysulphides, dithiocarbamates, 2-mercaptobenzothiazole derivatives, 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole derivatives and combinations thereof; and (ii) a coolant selected from a group consisting of: difluoromethane (HFC-32), R410A (close to an azeotropic mixture of difluoromethane (HFC-32) and pentafluoroethane (HFC-125)), hydrofluoroolefins and combinations thereof (versions).
EFFECT: obtaining working fluids for refrigeration systems in which the mixture of coolant and lubricant is compatible and miscible in a wide temperature range.
