SUBSTANCE: invention discloses liquid repellent compositions consisting of a volatile cyclic silicone carrier, a silicone based powdery sensation component and an ester in amount of less than 5 wt %, selected from a group which includes compounds of formula (I), formula (II) , formula (III) , as well as combinations thereof, where R₁-R₃, R₅-R₆ and R₈-R₉ are independently C₃-C₂₂alkyl or alkenyl groups, R₄ is a C₃-C₂₂alkylene or alkenylene fragment, and R₇ is a saturated or unsaturated C₃-C₂₂-fragment. Also disclosed is a method of improving dryness in the genital area using the disclosed composition.

EFFECT: disclosed component removes moisture from the surface more effectively compared to existing counterparts and does not leave a stickiness sensation.
