FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: compositions for personal hygiene for use in an absorbent product containing a complex isosorbide diester are described. The personal hygiene compositions also comprise solid cosmetic active substance soluble in the isosorbide diester complex and a dermatologically acceptable carrier. The personal hygiene composition can have the form of emulsion. Methods for preparation of these compositions for personal hygiene are also described.
EFFECT: compositions do not exert an irritating effect on keratinized or not keratinized epithelium.
