SUBSTANCE: invention can be used when upgrading and designing new radio sounding systems with high accuracy, reliability and faster transmission of telemetric information from on-board an aerological radiosonde to a ground radar station. An atmospheric sounding radar system comprises aerological radiosonde and a ground base station - radar station, wherein the aerological radiosonde includes an operating mode parameter control unit and a power supply parameter control unit with the following connections: the outputs of said units are connected to a microcontroller interfacing unit of the aerological radiosonde, the output of which is connected through output units of the aerological radiosonde to the antenna of the aerological radiosonde, which is connected through a radio link to the antenna of the radar station.

EFFECT: high accuracy and reliability of transmitted meteorological information.
