FIELD: meteorology.
SUBSTANCE: method for radar sounding of the atmosphere for the benefit of meteorology. The system consists of spatial (A) and ground (B) parts. The spatial part (A) consists of satellite navigation radioelectronic systems (SNRS) GLONASS/GPS (1), navigation (3) and radar (4) aerologic radio balloons (ARB). The ground part (B) consists of a dual-mode radar station (RLS), including a phased antenna array (5) with an electromechanical drive (6), a coherent pulse transmitter (7), a circulator (8), a drive control unit (9), an analog microwave receiver (10), unit (11) for processing attitude information, unit (12) for digital processing of signals of the intermediate frequency of ARB, unit (13) for processing the ARB response range signal, unit (14) for processing telemetric information of the ARB radar, unit (15) for digital control of the radar, a block (16) for monitoring the functioning of the radar, unit (17) for processing telemetric information of the navigation ARB, an automated workplace (18) for the radar operator, unit (19) for input-output of information.
EFFECT: increasing the potential and expanding the functionality of atmospheric radio sounding systems.
