FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sizing device (so called, "tuning" device) for transducers meant for measurement of diameters and other geometrical characteristics of cylinders, for example, rotundity, eccentricity and cross-section. Claimed sizing device (30) comprises two ledges (34, 35) reciprocated to extend and/or withdrawn by motors (36, 37) to make a sizing measurement. The latter is executed by measuring means (42-45) interacting with said ledges (34, 35). Note here that every ledge (34, 35) is actuated irrespectively of the other ledges (34, 35) by its proper motor (36, 37) of above mentioned motors (36, 37).
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements thanks to possibility of tuning.
