FIELD: wood working industry.
SUBSTANCE: assembly consists of receive and delivery mechanism with two preliminary metres and includes Y-shaped prism, mechanism for gripping and coordinating logs in space with measuring unit and mechanism of processing. The receive and delivery mechanism is placed in top and consists of two hooks of Y-shaped prisms fixed on a bar and suspended on two parallelograms consisting of a secondary draw bar and main draw bar of parallelogram placed parallel to each other and pivotally attached with a pneumatic cylinder of their movement. The grip and coordinating mechanism consists of stepped arm and direct arm with a rotary actuator of clamped log, hydro cylinder of arms clamping and oblique draw bar placed between them. The stepped arm and direct arm are equipped with hydro cylinders arm lift, rotary shafts with grips forming a rotation axis of grips are placed on free ends of the arms in sleeves with bearings, notably that the rotary actuator of the grips are placed on the direct arm. The mechanism of processing has a release device of treated log and placed on a framework which is made in the form shaped stands. The release device consists of two side bars of U-shaped form placed parallel to each other and connected between each other with crossbars. The receive and delivery mechanism, grip and coordinating mechanism, mechanism of processing are placed on three interconnected frameworks. The method includes banking of logs on two hooks of Y-shaped prisms of the receive and delivery mechanism with measuring preliminary data by determining diametre of a log in measure points and points of log displacement into a zone of grip and coordinating mechanism and gripping the log from the ends by clamping arms on the ground of the data received from preliminary measurement followed by measuring the parametres of the log during its rotation, and thereafter displacement of the log in the zone of processing. The log is moved in the zone of grip and coordinating mechanism on two hooks of Y-shaped prisms till specified radius of the grip with gripping for measuring parametres of the log according to which calculation of specified cylinder of maximum volume, which can be received during processing of the log, and further move of the log in the zone of processing, and the log is rotated by 360° in space about the axis of the grip together with processing by a milling cutter and at this time the log changes its position in space due to movement of the arm during rotation in accordance to the program. The method includes preliminary determination of the log parametres with determining center of grasping and rotation of the log about it by 360° for determining its axis passes through the ends of the log and specified centers of the center of circles with putting and saving these data in the computer program. Parametre determination of the cylinder of maximum volume includes determination of element, and final centering of measured logs are carried out together with processing by rotating cutter according to the computer program ensured holding left and right ends when a log is rotated.
EFFECT: simplification of device, energy consumption decrease, decrease of prime cost of production and service time, decrease of processing duration.
