FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to purification of waste water containing hard-to-oxidise organic compounds. The apparatus for purifying water by catalytic oxidation comprises series-connected feed vessel which is filled with water to be purified, a pump which feeds water into an ejector for mixing with an ozone-oxygen mixture, a saturator and a membrane unit with catalytically active membranes, one output of which is connected to the input of the saturator for feeding a concentrate, wherein the saturator is built-in with a heat exchanger, gas outlet taps connected to a residual ozone decomposer, the saturator is directly connected by a pipe with a dosing pump to the feed vessel for the treated liquid, and the suction pipe of the pump, which services the ejector, is connected to the saturator form a closed cycle.
EFFECT: invention reduces power consumption and ozone consumption, and provides more flexible control of the water purification process.
