FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of evaporating aluminate solutions includes evaporation of weak solutions in two stages with application of steam for heating and supply of evaporated solution for carbonate acid extraction. Two equal in volume flows of weak solutions are simultaneously supplied for evaporation by contraflow scheme. Evaporation of aluminate solution at first stage is realised in 4-5 body evaporation installations to concentration of medium liquors 240-250 g/l by Na2OCaust. At second stage evaporation is carried out in 3-4 body evaporation installations to concentration 310-320 g/l by Na2OCaust. and is directed for extraction of soda. After that, aluminate solution from first stage is mixed with aluminate solution of second stage. At first and second stages evaporation of aluminate solution is realised under vacuum.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase productivity of evaporation due to reduction of obliteration of heating surfaces of evaporation installations of first stage by salts, reduce steam consumption.
