FIELD: preparation of alumina. SUBSTANCE: method includes boiling-down of solutions in tubular evaporators with subsequent self-evaporation; simultaneously boiling-down in one multibody unit of solution capable of formation of scale insoluble in water; supply of solution for self-evaporation from the second, in direction of steam flow, evaporator, and supply of solution stable for formation of such scale into the first body and its withdrawal for separate self-evaporation. The device for embodiment of the offered method includes evaporators, heaters and self-evaporators, additionally installed self-evaporators of solution whose inlet is connected by means of pipeline with the second evaporator and contact heater. Inlet of one contact heater is connected with external source of stable solution, and inlet of the second contact heater is connected with the third evaporator, and their outlet are connected through gate with the second evaporator, and through gate, pump and heater they are connected with evaporator.
