FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: counter-rotor polywindrotor includes carrying mast and rotating assembly, on which the support framework with wind wheels of vertical-axial rotation is installed, the wheels are arranged in two tiers, and are set as wedge to wind. Between the framework tiers there is break containing counter-rotor generators, wind wheels of different tiers being coaxial have opposite rotations. Shafts of the wind wheels with lower swing area relating with the bottom tier are connected with rotors, and shafts of the wind wheels with larger swing area at top tier are connected with the counter-rotors of the same generators, these last shafts of the wind wheels, that are at maximum distance towards leeward side from the carrying mast, projects upwards beyond the support framework, where on their ends additionally orthogonal foil blades are installed.
EFFECT: achievement of larger electric power upon reliable plant orientation to the wind.
