FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to light engineering, and namely to optical lighting devices based on light-emitting diodes (LEDs) used, in particular, at railway transport. The LED device comprises control unit, heating unit, LEDs and photoreceiver. The technical result is attained due to equipment of the device with heating filaments, thermal sensor, protective glass or protective lens. The heating unit is made with potential heating of protective glass or protective lens through embedded heat filaments and potential temperature control via thermal sensor in-built into protective glass or protective lens. The photoreceivers are mounted at protective glass or protective lens with potential receipt of light flux from the specific LED. The control unit is designed to control current passing through LEDs based on readings of the photoreceivers.
EFFECT: control of light-emitting parameters for LED within limits of visible band during operation of the device in order to improve traffic safety.
