FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises voltage phase detectors for the generator and the mains, measuring transducers of the mains and generator voltage, converter of the generator rotation detector signal and two control channels. Each channel comprises microcontroller, integrator supplying power to the switch for circuit connecting the generator to the mains, keys of frequency changer control signals for the generator and the mains. Outputs of the switches for circuit connecting the generator to the mains are connected in series, while the other keys are coupled in parallel. Each microcontroller control operation of the other channel via serial interface, and when mismatch is detected it switches the generator from the mains and restarts the failed microcontroller, while integrator cuts power supply off from the switch for circuit connecting the generator to the mains when pulse signal from the microcontroller is unavailable at its failure. The device sends signals of the generator voltage and frequency mismatch in regard to the mains. If slip frequency and voltage of the generator are within permitted limits in regard to the mains the device connects the generator to the mains when voltage phases are equal considering actuation time for the circuit connecting the generator to the mains. Upon connection of the generator to the mains the device controls slip frequency of the generator in regard to the mains frequency and disconnects the generator from the mains when slip frequency exceeds the permitted value thus preventing asynchronous mode of the generator operation.
