FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: molecular singlet oxygen (MSO) is obtained by irradiation with wavelength 200-310 nm of pumped through reaction chamber gaseous ozone mixture, oxygen and gas X, selected from He, CO2, SF6, extinguishing excited ozone O3*, in ratio to singlet oxygen higher than k3/k, wherein k3 = 5×10-11 cm3/s, k is constant of extinguishing rate in process X+O3*→X+O3 in units cm3/s.
EFFECT: ozone stabilisation makes it possible to reduce MSO loss and due to it increase its output, use ozone molecule in further cycles of MSO accumulation.
