FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: medication comprises lysine hydrochloride, histidine, methionine. The components are dissolved in water and the solution volume is brought to 1 litre. The solution of sodium hydroxide is added to the resulting solution for alkalinisation. The medication additionally comprises glutamine, glutamic acid, and carnitine. The components are taken in the following amounts: glutamine - 9.0-11.0 g, glutamic acid - 9.0-11.0 g, lysine hydrochloride - 19.0-21.0 g, carnitine - 14.0-16.0 g, histidine - 4.0-6.0 g, methionine - 4.0-6.0 g. The components are dissolved in water for injection. The resulting solution is alkalised with sodium hydroxide solution to pH values of 7.3-7.5.

EFFECT: use of the claimed invention contributes to normalisation of the amino acid balance and biochemical parameters in the body of cows with ketosis and increase in the level of milk flow in healthy cows.
