FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: end cap (200) for a container (1) consisting of two parts for a beverage comprises a creaser (214) located around the longitudinal axis (50) and forming an outer perimeter of the end cap (200). The circular wall (215) is oriented at an angle downwards and radially inwards relative to the radially inner part of the creaser (214). The reinforcing element extends downwards and radially inwards relative to the circular wall (215). The central panel (212) diverges radially outwards from the longitudinal axis in the direction of the reinforcing element and has a diameter which is more than 87.7% of the total diameter of the end cap. A fragile notch (22) and a portion (25) of the flange form an openable portion (20) on the central panel (212). A non-detachable tab (26) is attached to the central panel (212) and comprises a sock overlying the openable portion (20) on the side opposite the lifting end of the tab (26).
EFFECT: reduction of the lid thickness.
