FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to linear low density polyethylene. Described is method for obtaining brands of linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), which have different content of xylene-soluble of hexane-extractable substances. Method includes copolymerisation of ethylene with C3-10-α-olefin in presence of Ziegler-Natta catalyst, alkylaluminium and electron donor. Dependence of xylene-soluble or hexane-extractable substances on alkylaluminium/electron donor ratio is determined. Dependence of normed content of xylem-soluble substances Y1 (wt %) in LLDPE on alkylaluminium/electron donor ratio is determined by equation Y1=6.16X0.33. Dependence of content of hexane-extractable substances Y2 (wt %) in LLDPE on alkylaluminium/electron donor ratio X (molar ratio) is determined by equation Y2=0.14X1.14. Also described are: method for control of LLDPE film gluing, linear LLDPE and film.
EFFECT: achievement of desirable content of xylene-soluble or hexane-extractable substances by application of the same catalyst with alteration of electron donor concentration.
