FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: composition of a propylene copolymer has modulus of elasticity in flexure less than 500 MPa, total content of ethylene higher than 9% and content of a fraction dissolved in xylene at room temperature higher than 30 wt %. The method is realised in at least one polymerisation step in a gas-phase reactor, having at least two interconnected polymerisation zones. At least 30 wt % of said fraction dissolved in xylene is obtained at the polymerisation step realised in the gas-phase polymerisation reactor, having at least two interconnected polymerisation zones.
EFFECT: obtaining a soft composition of propylene polymer, having an improved balance between content of residues dissolved in hexane and low modulus of elasticity in flexure.
