FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a solid catalyst component for olefin polymerisation, containing Mg, Ti, halogen and the electron donor compound (ID) which belongs to cyclic ethers having 3-6 carbon atoms, characterised by the molar ratio Mg/Ti of 7-50, molar ratio Mg/ID less than 3 and an X-ray diffraction spectrum where, in the range of diffraction angles 2Θ between 5.0° and 20.0°, there are at least three main diffraction peaks at diffraction angles 2Θ, equal to 7.2±0.2°, 11.5±0.2° and 14.5±0.2°. The said peak at 2Θ equals 7.2±0.2°, is the most intense, and the peak at 11.5+0.2° has the intensity which is less than 0.9 times the intensity of the most intense peak. The present invention also relates to the method of producing a solid catalyst component, an olefin polymerisation catalyst and the method of (co)polymerising olefins CH2=CHR.
EFFECT: obtaining a catalyst used to produce a low-density linear polyethylene, with the capacity for uniform comonomer distribution and obtaining the low content of gel defects.
