FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices of electric power generation. The method is proposed to generate electric power, which consists in using a device, comprising a linear or a rotor power generator and a mechanism of its drive, differing by the fact that the drive of the generator is carried out by conversion of kinetic energy of movable parts of small arms breech group in process of firing into rotary or reciprocal motion of the power generator anchor by means of interaction of the breech group with the generator drive mechanism.

EFFECT: increased power independence of an individual battle suit of a soldier and instruments attached to small arms, reduced weight of devices generating power, simplified maintenance and operation, reduced costs for logistics, exclusion of additional unmasking factors and possibility to generate power for each soldier directly during the battle.
