FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device contains bedplate, cutting gear with sharpening disk, gear of positioning of saw chain with rotating platform to ensure angle of tooth sharpening in plan, and gears of saw chain positioning to ensure angle of cutting of chain tooth and angle of sharpening direction. Said gear ensuring angle of sharpening direction is made mechanically connected with rotating platform with possibility of axis displacement of the rotating platform to definite distance relatively to cross point of the work zone along circle of the sharpening disk with plane in which axes of rotation of the sharpening disk and rotating platform are located. Displacement of platform axis is directed along cross line of said plane with longitudinal horizontal plane of the sharpened saw chain in direction of the chain tooth cutting angle.
EFFECT: chain jamming is excluded during its feeding, and device versatility is ensured.
