FIELD: physics, optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of contact lenses, particularly, to fabrication of shadow masks combined with uneven substrate. Claimed process comprises fabrication of mandrel including one or several moulds for making of shadow masks therein, withdrawal of blanks from said mould and creation of texture on shadow mask blanks. Moulds are made by diamond turning to shape of uneven substrate whereon shadow mask should displace. Mask blanks are made in moulds by electric forming with application of nickel. Textures on shadow mask blanks are produced by laser microprocessing.
EFFECT: higher precision and reproducibility.
