FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: device involves a set of cutting units that are spring-actuated and attached to the slots of a rotor installed over the supplying conveyor so that to enable rotation and equipped for such purpose with a step motor connected to the control system. The cutting units are designed in the form of figured guillotine cutters that are not identical in terms of size; their profiles correspond to the configurations of fish opercles. The rotor is equipped with a pneumatic cylinder connected to the pneumatic distributor and the control system; the pneumatic cylinder rod is used as the pusher during lowering of the chosen spring-actuated figured guillotine cutter for fish beheading. The measuring accessory is represented by a video camera installed upstream the rotor with cutters, connected to the control system and equipped with a light source. The supplying conveyor is additionally equipped with two pairs of optical sensors and reflectors positioned oppositely on either side of the conveyor; the sensors are connected to the control system.
EFFECT: invention ensures the process automation.
