FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to distillation, particularly, to production of krypton and xenon at distillation columns. Claimed system comprises one first distillation column for the mix of substances to be fed therein. Light fraction from the first distillation column is condensed partially in the first refluxer owing to indirect heat exchange with cooling gas. Condensate thus produced is fed partially to the first distillation column as the wet reflux. At stationary operation of the system of distillation columns the coolant liquid fraction is added to cooling gas downstream of the first refluxer. Produced mixed cooling medium is forced through heat exchanger for said medium to be cooled by indirect heat exchange upstream of the first refluxer. Coolant temperature at the first refluxer inlet is adjusted by adequate selection of added liquid fraction. The mixed cooling medium downstream of the heat exchanger is either not returned to the first refluxer or a portion of said medium is returned thereto. Note here that retuned cooling medium is expanded in the circuit without any work.

EFFECT: accelerated commissioning, safe and reliable operation.
