CUTTING OF BLANKS FOR MOULDING OF LATHE-SIZED PANELS FROM LOW-CARBON THIN-SHEET STEEL REEL (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B21D28/02

SUBSTANCE: after the feed of the reel per step for every press stroke the first and second blades of the press die to cut the first and second blanks by said first and second blades, respectively, along the first and curves along to side to bottom side of the wide reel, respectively. Lower parts of the first and second curves are plotted, first, as symmetric and mirror reflection of the upper parts of said first and second curves relative to vertical axes crossing the centres of said curves. Then, they plotted as symmetric and mirror reflection relative to the reel horizontal mirror axis to the second blank from the reel by the die second blade. In compliance with all versions, cutting of two shaped blanks is made without wastes and with previous blank shaped penetrating in the next blank outline. This increases the reel feed pitch and higher process efficiency.

EFFECT: higher precision of cut blanks and durability of the die at wasteless cutting.
