METHOD OF CUTTING BLANKS FROM ROLLED SHEET MATERIAL FOR FORGING LARGE PANELS (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC B21D28/02 

FIELD: metal processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to sheet stamping. One blank is cut from the roll, at one press stroke without wastes using a die along the line which is symmetric relative to roll axis. Upper part of this line is started from the straight line which is extended by adding a curve with a certain radius of curvature determined by the shape stamped from this blank. Then the curve is extended by adding a straight line turned counterclockwise from vertical, which is extended by adding a curve. This curve is extended by adding a vertical straight line to roll axis. Lower part of the blanks cut line from the symmetry axis of the roll to the lower side of the roll is symmetric to the upper part of the blanks cut line. Blanks made from sheet material are cut by means of tooling, knives, die with male and female die on presses or automatic presses, on shears, on laser, plasma and other installations.

EFFECT: for all versions shaped blanks cutting is performed without wastes with overlap of previous blank inside contour of next blank that allows decreasing roll feed pitch and reducing defects quantity.
