FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of hollow glass microspheres (HGM) with an amorphous structure which can be used as various fillers. The method of production of the hollow glass microspheres includes crushing of source components of the furnace charge from glass waste, quartz and ark sand, and pore former, drying, granulation of the dried-up powder, preparation of glass from the obtained granules, granulation of the fusion of glass in water, its grinding and subsequent heat treatment of glass powder. Crushing is performed by consecutive dry and wet grinding of the initial components of the furnace charge down to the fraction below 5 microns, and at the stage of wet grinding the furnace charge is added by colemanite at the following ratio of components, wt %: quartz and ark sand 57-75, glass waste 1-19, pore-former 1-4, colemanite 5-20.
EFFECT: obtaining of strengthened glass microspheres.
