FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with the first version, the fibres are made of Fe-Cr-Al-Y-system-based alloy and contain 21-27 wt % of chromium, 5-7 wt % of aluminium, 0.1-0.6 wt % of titanium, 0.1-0.5 wt % of silicon, 0.001-0.1 wt % of yttrium, 0.01-5.0 wt % of platinum, iron making the rest. In compliance with the second version, the fibres are made of Ni-Cr-Al-Hf-system-based alloy and contain 4-6 wt % of chromium, 5-8 wt % of aluminium, 0.1-1.0 wt % of hafnium, 0.5-20 wt % platinum, nickel making the rest. The fibres can feature 1-50 mm length and diameter of at least 15 mcm. This invention discloses the article made thereof.
EFFECT: higher strength and resistance to high-temperature oxidation at over 1000 degrees.
