FIELD: producing metal honeycomb seals.
SUBSTANCE: following is proposed: a turbine honeycomb seal material consisting of a tape made of an alloy of the iron-chromium-aluminum-yttrium system and a protective coating applied to it, formed from the Si3C5H15O0.25-SiC-MoSi2-CoSO4 system. The proposed material provides a honeycomb turbine seal with the required abrasion resistance and a longer service life due to better resistance to high temperatures compared to the honeycomb seals used in aircraft gas turbine engines.
EFFECT: increase in resistance of the turbine honeycomb seal to high temperatures without compromising its abrasion property.
