FIELD: metallurgy; abradable sealing coatings.
SUBSTANCE: coating for sealing the radial gaps and the flow path of the compressor of a gas turbine engine, obtained by the method of plasma spraying of a powder mixture, comprises powders of boron nitride, graphite and nickel-based alloy powder. As the nickel-based alloy powder, a powder containing aluminum, chromium and yttrium is used, and the powder mixture, if necessary, comprises at least one component from the group: aluminum nitride, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide. The components in the powder mixture are taken at the following ratio, by % of weight: aluminum 0.5-1.0, chromium 0.5-2.0, yttrium 0.01-0.5, boron nitride 50-80, graphite 2-5, if necessary, at least one component from the group: aluminum nitride, aluminum oxide, silicon carbide in a total amount of 0.5-5, while the rest for nickel. The coating is obtained using powders with a particle size of 50 to 200 microns, produced using liquid glass as a binder. The boron nitride and graphite powders contained in the powder mixture are nickel-plated.
EFFECT: increased abrasion of the coating while maintaining erosion resistance at a high level of 420-840 CU.
