FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention includes a device to determine flow rate of a liquid flow passing in a pipe made from material having low heat conductivity, comprising a sensor arranged at least partially inside the pipe wall, at the same time a part of the sensor is substantially parallel to the inner surface of the wall. The sensor in the working condition is connected to a control and display device. The sensor comprises a printed circuit board (PCB), where at least two thermistors are installed: an upstream thermistor, which serves for basic measurements, and a downstream thermistor with self-heating. The control and display device periodically measures electrical resistance of thermistors to generate signals, which are processed by electronic means of the control and display device to specify values of the flow rate.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement, reliability of operation and expanded field of application.
