FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method includes evaporating nano-objects with a laser beam and analysing nano-objects based on the fluorescence thereof. Nano-objects are placed on the surface of a transparent substrate. A laser pulse is directed onto the surface with nano-objects inside the substrate at a controlled angle which is greater than the total internal reflection angle, said laser pulse having energy sufficient for at least partial evaporation of the nano-objects. Radiation of the vapour undergoes spectral analysis. The apparatus comprises a substrate with nano-objects on the surface and an emitter. The emitter provides radiation intensity which is sufficient for evaporating nano-objects, wherein a spectrum analyser, having a collimator which faces the nano-objects by the entrance aperture, is mounted at both sides of the substrate or at one side thereof in the fluorescence flux of the nano-objects. The substrate is made from materials which are transparent for radiation of the emitter and which can be transparent for the intrinsic radiation of the nano-objects.
