FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on the influence on the surface of an analysed sample by a focused laser radiation with pulse energy of 0.1-1.3 J and pulse duration of 100-130 mcs. An analysis of the laser spark glowing is carried out, which makes it possible to isolate spectral lines of vapours of determined elements and identify the spectral lines. To determine each of the elements the most sensitive lines of arsenic emission in the range 203-223 nm are used experimentally.
EFFECT: determination of optimal parameters of the laser-spark influence on samples of analysed food products to determine arsenic in the food raw material and foodstuff.
