FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to arc gas-shield welding. Claimed head comprises the body with shielding gas feed channel, non-consumable electrode collet, nozzle and the mandrel coupled therewith and provided with through holes. The cooling channel has extra barrel with the bore for collet, threaded ends and flange with holes. Said collet is composed of the tip with clamping cams and hollow rod and fitted in the barrel. The cooling channel is made inside the hollow rod in the electrode guide bore as a helical closed electrode surface with two radial grooves at the edges. Note here that one of the grooves has the shield gas feed inlet while the other groove has the shielding gas passage inside the mandrel. Note also that said grooves are provided with radial holes in the barrel while radial groove at the outlet abuts on the adapter end with collet locking cams.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling of the electrode, collet, mandrel and nozzle.
