FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: spacecraft solar panel is provided with a bar in the form of pivotally connected root (1) and telescopic (2) links and is in the form of foldable panels. In a transportation position, the links (1, 2) are folded together and the panels are stacked in containers with bases (19) and covers (20). The covers (20) and bases (19) are respectively mounted on links (2) and (1) and are unfolded with long sides along the axis of the folded bar. A rotary panel (24) serves to press the panels (17) to the cover (20) and turning thereof by 45° for uniform lift-off. When switching the solar panel to an operating position, the containers are first turned with long sides perpendicular to the axis of the bar and the cover and base are fixed on links (2) and (1). Initial opening of the panels (17) is carried out by mutually turning the links (1, 2) by an angle of 180°. The process of unfolding the solar panel is completed by pushing intermediate pipes of the telescopic link (2).
EFFECT: high reliability of opening a solar panel, improved weight and size properties and performance thereof.
