FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and can be used in spacecraft power supply systems. The solar panel comprises a panel and a frame which are repeatedly opened and folded synchronously. The spacecraft, frame and panel are joined to each other by hinge joints. All hinge joints are connected in series by a tendon drive with pulleys. For repeated transfer of the solar panel into an open and folded position, a motor is provided, whihc is installed in one of the hinge joints. Each hinge joint comprises drive springs which provide full opening or closure of the solar panel, and a locking device which fixes the open position of the solar panel, which is made in the form of a spring-loaded hook. In order to control the locking devices, each hook is kinematically linked with the pulley of a synchronisation system installed in the respective hinge joint.
EFFECT: invention provides repeated opening and folding of the solar panel and its fixation in extreme positions with given rigidity.
