FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises, in each j-th range for the obtained group of measurements for all tracked targets, generating a closing error which is the difference between results of the obtained measurements and results of predicting phase coordinates estimates of the tracked target; further, for all tracked trajectories, generating quality composite functions. The decision on the association of the obtained measurements with any of the tracked targets is made based on the minimum value of the composite functions determined during search thereof. A system for identifying measurements for a dual-band radar system is made in a certain manner.

EFFECT: faster operation and higher accuracy of identifying measurements from dual-band radar systems.
