SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to methods for examining the human cardiovascular health. A rheosignal is decomposed into low-frequency (LF) and high-frequency (HF) components. A major vascular tone is assessed by a HF to LF component amplitude ratio. A medium and minor vascular tone is shown by a ratio of a mean steepness of the HF component in a segment from a pulse wave onset to its top to a mean steepness of the HF component in a segment from a rheowave top to notch. A pre-capillary arteriola tone or peripheric resistance is assessed by a phase shift of the HF component in relation to the LF component.

EFFECT: inventions enable providing the more reliable assessment of the various-size arterial tone by means of the rheosignal decomposition into the HF and LF components and evaluation of the physical parameters of various-size arterial vessels.
