FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and aims at examining an uveal blood flow in patients suffering impaired circulation in the ocular arterial system associated with occlusive-stenotic internal carotid involvements. Systolic wave amplitude, between-eye asymmetry ratio, maximum venous component, fast and slow blood filling rates, fast and slow blood filling periods, venous outflow, Kedrov pulse volume, Yantch rheographic coefficient are evaluated by rheoophthalmography in the patients with acute ischemic neuropathy, occlusion of a central retinal artery or its branches. The specific ranges of values to differentiate a degree of occlusion, stenotic involvement of the internal carotid, carotid body.
EFFECT: method allows higher accuracy of differential diagnostics.
