FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely cardiology. An upper-arm compression cuff is wrapped around. A second cuff wrapped around a forearm in the distal direction from the first cuff is also used. While measuring, a second cuff pressure is maintained 40-50 mmHg. A systolic pressure is stated as an upper-arm cuff pressure at the moment of the latest peak pulse in the cuff before the pulsation manifests in the second cuff, reduced by 5 mm Hg. A diastolic pressure is an upper-arm cuff pressure at the moment a stable pressure area is absent in the second cuff when a decaying limb transforms into an anacrotic limb, reduced by 5 mm Hg. The method makes it possible to obtain the reliable, objective and accurate arterial blood pressure measurement data, including in the patients with heart rhythm disorders.
EFFECT: higher effectiveness of the method.
