SUBSTANCE: method includes installation of at least one power transmission line into a tray of the shake table, which is filled with ground or a mixture simulating ground with density corresponding to density of the ground, where the tested power transmission tower is to be installed; fixing of the power transmission tower by one or several beams, weights, which weight corresponds to weight of wires and/or optical-fibre cable between towers of the power transmission line for which construction the tested power transmission tower is to be installed; driving the tray into oscillating movement in one or several sequential modes with compliance of certain conditions, removal of the tested power transmission tower from the tray upon its stop and integrity check-up for its components and/or connections.
EFFECT: simulation of real earthquake conditions and real conditions for fixing in the ground and load for power transmission towers.
