FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: in a radar space scanning method, based on the exchange of radar information by independently operating radar stations spread apart in a monitored space, radar stations with overlapping coverage areas exchange data on a target path set by the said stations and the resultant path in the overlapping area is set by calculating the angular coordinate in the plane of the established radar offset using the range to the target extracted from the set paths of the radar stations included in the universal time system. The said technical result according to the second version of the disclosed engineering solution is achieved due to that, in the radar space scanning method, based on exchange by radar stations radar information with a data bank, accessible for independently operating radar stations spread apart in the monitored space, the radar stations transmit to the data bank and receive therefrom parameters of the target paths set by the said radar stations; based on the said information, the resultant path in the overlapping area of the radar stations is set by calculating the angular coordinate in the plane of the established radar offset using the range to the target extracted from the set paths of the radar stations included in the universal time system.

EFFECT: reducing the power consumed by radar stations when determining the angular coordinates of a target with the required accuracy.
