SUBSTANCE: device includes plate precipitation electrodes, tape and needle discharge electrodes with needles oriented perpendicular to precipitation electrodes. For tape and needle discharge electrodes the ratio of needle height to tape width is increased as distance grows between precipitation electrodes grows and it is equal to 1.0-7.0.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in operation of electrostatic filters due to excluded dead zones in corona discharge at surface of deposition electrodes.
